I remember those days in London as a poor student because all my money was spent on phone bills! So what did I do? I lived on Kit Kat and walked everywhere. I was having a long distance relationship and those of you who’ve been there know exactly what I’m talking about. When you miss your loved ones, you want to hang onto the phone…….even if there’s only the silence of death between those lines. And then when you fight, you want to hang on till the fight is resolved or you’d be feeling like a lump of shit later. With the onset of the internet, communication is now seamless and people can get in touch everywhere at any time at lightning speed. However, nothing beats the good old fashioned telephone with a clear line. Where you don’t have to talk to a computer or raise your voice like a contractor. Besides, not everyone is on the internet. Like my grandmother or even my own mother. They wouldn’t have a clue about Skype or Yahoo Messenger or Google Chat or MSN. No way.
