For the last month, Tee has been praying to God asking him to get Santa to get her a DS Lite, exactly like the one her boyfriend has and it has to be white colour, not pink. No way. Make sure it’s white, ok?
I truly wonder if she is purposefully praying out aloud so we can hear her.
We went to Bangsar Village today to enquire and they were selling them for RM690 which included 50 pre-selected games. The guy said we could come back to change the games if we didn’t like them for free but subsequent game changes would cost RM5 per game. I didn’t think BV was the place to buy a DS so we left. Anyone know where’s the best place is to buy a DS? I am clueless about these things…..
Incidentally, did you know that the current alteration rate is RM15 to shorten a pair of sleeves (literally just fold it shorter since I have short limbs)????? Whatever happened to RM3-5 for a simple alteration? Man, if I could sew, I’d just do it myself. I mean, practically every item I uy off the shelf has to be altered!
I’m browsing Nintendo DS Lites now and looking at games…….what a bloody waste of my time. The Hubs is asking why Tee gets to buy a DS and he didn’t get to buy a PSP. Well, it is because we had TWO PSPs in the family so I thought it was a waste of money as he could always borrow theirs. Besides, I told him that the DS was meant to shut Tee up because I go nuts with her incessant banter. With the DS, at least we can have some peace and quiet.
He sulked. Can you believe it? He sulked!!! He said in that case, he should start nagging me until he drove ME nuts so that I’d buy him a PSP to shut him up too. Now, he’s going to be fighting the DS with his own daughter and he’s complaining that the DS is not even adult friendly……..can you see me scowl?

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

all this digital things are driving all kids going gaga and us adult going crazy! i got the DS lite from one of those store in sungai wang, it cost RM750+ then (about 1 year ago) but the dealer gave us a password that we could download free games from the internet. i guess a good place to look for these digital gears would be sungai wang or maybe digital mall at Section 14
Uncle Ben here,
Should be able to get better deals for the DS in town i.e. Sg Wang/Low Yatt. If you need cheap alterations i can take your baju to Pertama Complex.
PS You do know that Tee will be bored of the DS in 1 month…
LOL Men will always be a kid at heart especially when it comes to games and toys.
I think Sungai Wang is not the best place but Low Yat! You get to compare prices over there. A DS will shut Tee up YES but like what eMs said maybe for a month? and it’ll be an addition to her many other toys 😛 furthermore it’ll spoil Tee’s perfect eyesight!!! I’ve seen my younger cousins playing the DS at the dinner table and I think it’s a very habit as they get addicted!
i have never touched a nintendo before… hence, i can’t comment much on what is the best price or where to get it. but, i always think that we shouldn’t get such toys for kids. they will end up playing with it non-stop, everywhere they go!!!
Try to go to MV there is a game shop near the food court. That is the place where my hub always visit and my boys DS are getting from there also.
Agree with you, if let the kids got one nintendo DS, at least can keep them busy a while and won’t come and disturb. Usually when i drive i let them play or while eat out waiting for food, at least this can keep them occupied. 😀
We got 7 nintendo at home! Each kids got one!!! *pengsan*
