Posted on December 8, 2007December 8, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
We all take for granted on a daily basis how lucky we are to have what we have but how many of us really care about what we are about to leave behind for the future lives of our children? The statistics and facts are there. If we.......click to learn what next.

Behaviour of a bossy toddler

Posted on December 8, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Bossiness is a common trait in three year old toddlers but it is a trait that I am trying to change Tee out of. It's going to be a monumental task seeing that her Mother is bossy herself. *grin* It is not unusual to see her ordering.......click to learn what next.

What shall I do with my newfound cash?

Posted on December 6, 2007April 30, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
I've recently come into some spare cash that I made myself thus can choose to use it whichever way I might. At first, I thought of doing some frivolous shopping (again!) in the form of a new handbag or some new crockery for my kitchen but a dear.......click to learn what next.

Tiredness in toddlers

Posted on December 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
This post by Shireen reminded me of Tee's unexpected collapse. I must say I am more aware now of recognising the glaze in her eyes and do the hourly calculation of whether she should be tired or not. *grin*

In making decisions about my three year old daughter

Posted on December 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
I asked the Hubs this morning, "Would you allow Tee to stay with her boyfriend when she is 30 years old?" "When she is 30, she can do whatever she wants!" "What about when she is 21 years old?" "NO." "If she was 25?" "I'll think about it.......click to learn what next.

I've only had my phone for less than a year but it is already close to being obsolete. That's how fast technology moves, faster than an eye blink. There are many reasons why I like my phone; the fact that it has a sophisticated camera for those candid.......click to learn what next.

On caning children, should you? Shouldn’t you? – Sparing the rod with your children

Posted on December 5, 2007December 5, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Jo-N, MyLovelyMummy and BabyShern's Mommy has tagged me on this subject and I have also been meaning to speak my mind about it after reading about it ages ago at Colin's. The very sensitive subject of caning your children. In this instance, I will also refer the term.......click to learn what next.

Foolish young employee strapped for cash

CHANGING THE WORLD MOVEMENT

I love green

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others…..

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who works full time juggling several jobs – the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she gets very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intends to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women can bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

I love green

She writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others.

Her 2 girls drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7…..day after day…..and interestingly, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she’s Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She’s thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She’d love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
