Bossiness is a common trait in three year old toddlers but it is a trait that I am trying to change Tee out of. It’s going to be a monumental task seeing that her Mother is bossy herself. *grin* It is not unusual to see her ordering her friends around at school and seeing all those little tots running around following the General’s command. Her teacher says she is a born leader. Whilst being a leader is good, the nature of leadership is also a point for consideration. Adolf Hitler was a leader after all…….

And so, over the last few days, I’ve been observing how Tee drags my brother (the one who just came back from Oz) by his hand and handcuffs him to my Mother’s dining chair. And if you’re wondering where she gets the handcuffs from? From my OTHER brother, the kinky one. It is quite definite that for his next holidays back, he will not be staying at my mom’s but renting a room outside just to stay far, far aways from a toddler. My brother’s girlfriend, who entertained Tee yesterday or should I say was entertained by Tee yesterday, said “My goodness….she talks so much.” trying to say it in a positive tone but we all know, don’t we, about how Tee can really wear down a person. Any person.

I remind her time and time again to use her polite and nice voice rather than her ‘ordering’ voice. It needs practice. She has no qualms telling people what to do and unfortunately her grandparents (BOTH SIDES!!!) kowtows to every order of hers. Like in Kota Bharu, she made herself a make shift keyboard and pretended to be a keyboardist in a band. She then shouted out for her Kong-Kong and Ama to come and dance. They were busy gardening but they all ran to the commotion only to find that their little princess wanted them to dance to her music. So dance they did.
