What I cannot stand about Kota Bharu

Posted on November 28, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
The heat. The absolute heat. Because Kota Bharu is situated near the coastline, the heat even within the city is amazingly HOT. Moreover, there are no tall buildings here to provide any shade so all homes are exposed to the direct sunlight, the beach type. It is so.......click to learn what next.

Something to think about

Posted on November 25, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Have you got one person in your life whom you are irritated with? Or whom you cannot stand? That one person who just brings out all feelings of hostility within your body? More often than not, this person is the black cat mother-in-law! Thankfully for me, this is.......click to learn what next.

Posted on November 25, 2007 by Mamapumpkin

Tee’s way of entertaining herself

Posted on November 23, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
My girl is forced to be independent because Mommy has a lot of work to do so most days, she will find something or other to play with, by herself. Well, I can't be playing with her all day, right??! Sometimes, she will play her toys and games.......click to learn what next.

Tee and the poo-poo book

Posted on November 22, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Today, in the bathroom just as I was about to give Tee a bath, I heard a thud followed by, "Oops! That's Daddy's poo-poo book." "What poo-poo book?" I asked curiously. "There!" she pointed into the empty bath tub, the latest HWM magazine (not playboy). "I accidentally dropped.......click to learn what next.

Posted on November 22, 2007November 22, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
*fill in the blanks* I've been doing some thinking lately how difficult it must be for some people to find friends. Let's say you are the daughter of the Prime Minister, or some famous celebrity or perhaps your dad is Donald Trump; maybe you yourself are the person.......click to learn what next.

Tee at Mandarin Edudrama

CHANGING THE WORLD MOVEMENT

I love green

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others…..

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who works full time juggling several jobs – the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she gets very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intends to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women can bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

I love green

She writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others.

Her 2 girls drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7…..day after day…..and interestingly, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she’s Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She’s thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She’d love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
