I write this for the sake of those who are there right now. I’ve been there before. And everyone goes there at some point of their lives. Some visit several times over. It’s not a friendly place to be but we need to be there because we need something to compare to when we get up again. If we didn’t, we wouldn’t know we were up when we are up.
It is just a phase that will pass (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 1 decade – it is up to you). If you are rock bottom, it can only get better, right? So you DO have something to look forward to. This is a journey of self-discovery. Find out why you are feeling the way you are. Address your demons. And I promise you, things WILL get better. Nothing is permanent.
I went through my lowest of lows when I was at University. It was a tough time because for the first time in my life, I was away from family, alone. Insecure as a 19 year old thrown into big city London, where all my peers seemed so knowledgable and vocal. Then my parents divorced and my whole world crumbled. I started hallucinating because I was so depressed. And then I checked myself in to see a psychiatrist because I thought I was going mad. He of course, told me that I was perfectly sane and not to waste his time. I needed that jolt to shock me out of this depression. It was a case of poor me, pity me, feel sorry for me, my life is terrible, I am a victim……and I managed to get out of that mode of thinking.

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
