The Power of Gratitude

We moved into our new house just a day before the Malaysian Government announced the Movement Restriction Order. This meant everything that comes with a new house move gets cut so we have been in limbo for a few weeks now and another 2 weeks to go.

I asked the marble guys when they could deliver my marble and they said 2 weeks after the lockdown is lifted. I asked my bar stool guys when the stools would be delivered and they said that it will be a priority as soon as the MCO is lifted. IKEA has not contacted me about any delivery dates. The Bosch and Hunter Douglas guys are also waiting for MCO to be lifted. I suppose everyone is. We are also awaiting several more pieces of furniture so it has been indeed fun living in an unfinished new house with boxes everywhere.

We have been having our meals standing for only 4 weeks, the little things we always take for granted. I had the experience of having a broken foot for 2 months in a cast so I know what I have to be grateful for. We really DO take so much for granted which is why I am organising the Silk Road trip of 5 weeks with my girls so they are reminded how incredibly blessed and lucky we are. It will be a trip of different time zones and weather, dirty toilets and uncomfortable sleep, food that is potentially suspect, and a long journey of walking. Sometimes, we need to rough it out in order to be able to truly appreciate the good in life.

I look at some of the people on my team and more than half have never experienced hardship like I have. Millennials totally have no grit nor patience to sustain a business long term and the older ones who are not even as old as I am mind you, are already complaining. Life is too hard for them. If only they knew what I have been through. I feel like I would only be wasting my time extending unwanted support when they themselves do not want to help themselves. Everyone wants a fast track. Until they do the hard stuff to overcome their mental blocks, they’re not getting the extras. That is just the way of the world unfortunately.

I am immensely grateful that my 15 year old knows hard work. So, so grateful that she isn’t going to end up a time waster who only want me-me-me handouts without working for it. I think I would kill myself if my daughter ended up with that kind of attitude. It is so simple. You want a million bucks? Go make it. The steps are there. Do it. But no…..complaining and excuses are much easier. Believe me, if I wanted hand outs, I could get them EASY. However, my pride would never allow it.

I have moved on. With gratitude. There are people waiting for me.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
