Early morning rant

Posted on March 9, 2010October 2, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Last night, I told my helper to deep fry half a packet of baby anchovies so that Tee could snack on them. She loves eating fried anchovies as they are salty and since she gets some form of calcium from them, I allow it. When I woke up.......click to learn what next.

How much intellect for an administration job?

Posted on March 9, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Since I'm in the mood, I was wondering if a house maid can ever have an administration job in an office? Seriously, assuming they had a tertiary education, can read and write pretty fluently, had some common sense, do you think they'd qualify for an admin jobs? Mine.......click to learn what next.

Fixing lights

Posted on March 8, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
The lights in our living room have a habit of going bust every now and then and when they do, Tee would become the broken record reminder to the Hubs that he needs to fix it as it involves her. Her desk sits in the middle of the.......click to learn what next.

And we’re all sick!

Posted on March 5, 2010March 5, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
Spent RM180 at T2's Doctor today for antibiotics yadayada. My baby has bronchitis and if I hadn't seen him today, it could have very quickly turned into pneumonia. I, myself, went to see a Doctor this evening, another RM60 but wasn't prescribed antibiotics because I am breastfeeding. The.......click to learn what next.

Stressed beyond recognition

Posted on March 2, 2010March 2, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
My little munchkin above is capable of stressing me out to the point that Tee no longer recognises her own mother. I have metamorphosised into a flaming dragon in heat who's just lost her King, not to another female dragon but to a....to a.....dirty pig! What does He.......click to learn what next.

On the contrary…..

Posted on March 2, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
So after blabbing on about how I was going to make an effort to verbalise my answers to people the other day, I have now decided STUFF IT. Yes, like Elaine says, why bore you with the mundane details. That is how boring my life is. And since.......click to learn what next.

Stop busy-ness from taking over your life

Posted on February 27, 2010February 27, 2010 by Mamapumpkin
It is all too common these days to hear parents (and even singles who are caught up in the rat race amongst others) say that they are just too busy. Everyone is busy. Honestly, how many people do you know who aren't very busy? For me, only my.......click to learn what next.

I wish I don't have parents who are stressed out all the time! People who need to grow

Posted on February 18, 2010 by Mamapumpkin

Cellulite is genetic

The hardest thing about being a Stay-At-Home-Mom

Errant drivers at school

Posted on February 17, 2010February 17, 2010 by Mamapumpkin

CHANGING THE WORLD MOVEMENT

I love green

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others…..

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who works full time juggling several jobs – the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she gets very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intends to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women can bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

I love green

She writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others.

Her 2 girls drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7…..day after day…..and interestingly, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she’s Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She’s thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She’d love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
