Spent RM180 at T2’s Doctor today for antibiotics yadayada. My baby has bronchitis and if I hadn’t seen him today, it could have very quickly turned into pneumonia. I, myself, went to see a Doctor this evening, another RM60 but wasn’t prescribed antibiotics because I am breastfeeding. The reason I saw the Doctor was because T2’s paed said that if Mommy wasn’t well, Mommy would reinfect baby again after baby was well. Now, Tee is fighting this cough that we’ve had since Chinese New Year, 20 days ago!!!
To make matters worse, my Dell laptop died on me last night whilst we were watching Sandra Bullock’s latest movie, The Blind Side. Gah! The Hubs thought the hard drive had died so went out to get a new hard drive for RM180 but when he installed it this evening, it was still dead. Perhaps I need a new laptop? Like an Apple? And just as I told him I now had some US dollars from my blogging savings, he said I might have to use it for a new laptop because he ain’t got any money for a new one! Apple or Dell, people?
A few weeks ago, Tee came home and told me they had assembly in school that day. Naturally very interested in my daughter’s school life, I asked her what assembly entailed, who spoke, what they did, how they behaved, whether they stood, sat on chairs or on the floor??? I HAD to rub it in that in my day, assembly was standing out in the hot sun, sweating in our uniforms and waiting till the principal was done with her speech, then walking up lots of stairs to our classrooms. Tee said they sat down. On chairs! In an air-conditioned hall!!! The life of kids these days!
So after some interrogation, she explained that the principal had given out Chinese New Year oranges to every single student and they had to walk up to stage to collect their oranges and chocolate and shake the principal’s hand. The principal also talked about IT. What about IT, I asked. I was aware that Tee’s school had an IT department and was wondering what was of significance in IT that had to be announced during assembly? And to 5 year old kids? What did THEY know about IT?
I pressed on for more details but Tee kept saying she couldn’t remember. How frustrating for a mother! I got creative and asked at every angle. Is there a new IT teacher? Are they getting more computers? Is the IT room being renovated? Is the room being relocated? Then she yelled, “AHH! I remember now, Mommy! She said to pray for IT so we all had to pray for IT…”

PRAY FOR IT????? What the hell? And seconds later, I burst into hysterics when I realised the principal was certainly talking about Haiti and not IT. Tee confirmed this when she started talking about earthquakes and poor people yadayadayada…….*sigh* All that effort.

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

what’s that black thing in between Tessa’s front 2 top teeth in the pic?
You want to know something funny or maybe not when I read that she said pray for IT I knew she meant Haiti! Is something wrong with me? LOL
Hmnn, I have had friends complaning that Apple is not very user-friendly……really depends on u though
I am your regular blog reader and have a daughter 6 months younger than Tee. She will only be attending Primary 1 in 2012, just wondering how did you management to enroll TEE to primary 1 in such young age?
ahahahahhaahhahahahaha I have a good laugh *cruel me* about pray for Haiti (IT). Actually come to think of it, T1 is like you. Cos you said she talks too much…yet u ask her too much..or u purposely want to “test” or annoy her…
Hugs and kisses to you & T2. Speedy recovery. Can’t advise you on Dell or Apple cos I am IT (not HAITI!) stupid. I like the sleekness of Apple more though. I use a Dell at work – it works but doesn’t look cool.
LOL!! Haiti (IT)!!!!
i notice Tee looks a lot like you, a pretty girl. 🙂
