How important is your hair?

Posted on December 11, 2007December 11, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
It is amazing how much a hairstyle or even how your hair is styled or combed can make or break an impression. What is the point of being beautiful, having make-up and looking pretty when your crowning glory is far from its regal state? I'm not suggesting that.......click to learn what next.

Transformations when I get fat

Posted on December 8, 2007December 8, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Why is it that when I put on a little more weight to my already heavy frame, my neck starts to disappear, my eyes become slant, my face gets flatter than a pancake and my nose starts to round like Rudolf? Documenting books you’ve read

Posted on December 8, 2007December 8, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I've always been anal about many things. Like how I can only drink water from a glass. Like how I like my toilet paper to be pulled from the outside of the toilet roll holder and not the inside. Like how I just couldn't go braless. Ever........click to learn what next.

Posted on December 8, 2007March 17, 2012 by Mamapumpkin
I asked my Mom today, what the most important thing to her right now was (after doing the 20 questions tag *smile*) and she replied without hesitation, "Tessa!" My mother adores Tee so much that she spoils her with anything and everything Tee so desires. The day before.......click to learn what next.

Cutting edge plasma cutters

Posted on December 8, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
Since most of my readers are Moms, I'm guessing that the majority of you haven't a clue what a plasma cutter is? At University, I spent a lot of my time in the basement workshop making architectural models from real timber and real metal, real glass and real.......click to learn what next.

Behaviour of a bossy toddler

Posted on December 8, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Bossiness is a common trait in three year old toddlers but it is a trait that I am trying to change Tee out of. It's going to be a monumental task seeing that her Mother is bossy herself. *grin* It is not unusual to see her ordering.......click to learn what next.

What shall I do with my newfound cash?

Posted on December 6, 2007April 30, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
I've recently come into some spare cash that I made myself thus can choose to use it whichever way I might. At first, I thought of doing some frivolous shopping (again!) in the form of a new handbag or some new crockery for my kitchen but a dear.......click to learn what next.

Tiredness in toddlers

Posted on December 6, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
This post by Shireen reminded me of Tee's unexpected collapse. I must say I am more aware now of recognising the glaze in her eyes and do the hourly calculation of whether she should be tired or not. *grin*

My brother from Melbourne (aka the Durian) flew home early this morning so being the loyal family members, Tee and I rushed excitedly over to my Mom's place to welcome him home. But the bugger had gone to sleep after he arrived before the sun had risen. Tee.......click to learn what next.

CHANGING THE WORLD MOVEMENT

I love green

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others…..

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who works full time juggling several jobs – the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she gets very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intends to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women can bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

I love green

She writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others.

Her 2 girls drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7…..day after day…..and interestingly, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she’s Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She’s thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She’d love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
