Of solids and liquids…

My shower cubicle has 10 bottles of shampoo and conditioner because I like mixing and matching. I get bored easilly. And I usually have about 5 bottles of liquid soap too and a couple of body scrub jars. And one bar soap.

Whilst having a shower today, I was in the mood for some liquid soap. I reached out for a bottle. But couldn’t find one. I looked. And looked again.

DARN! Just when I was in the mood for some liquid soap, we’ve run out! Who’s finished my liquid soap and not yelled for a replacement?! Don’t you just hate it when you open the fridge for some goodies to find it disappeared?

I shout out to the Hubs (who was busy getting Tee ready for bed outside),

“We need to get more liquid soap!!!”

He popped his head into the bathroom and asked,

“Why do you need liquid soap? Use the bar soap. We don’t have money for liquid soap!”

I was completely flabbergasted with his &%#$(@ reply and was left speechless for two seconds with a deep, monstrous frown when Tee broke the silence by shouting out,

“Just put the soap in water, Mummy, and it will become more wet and liquid!”

We both burst out laughing.

I later learnt from Tee’s Communications Booklet that Tee is currently learning the alphabet ‘i’ in school, and as part of their Science lesson, the children got to paint with coloured ice and that is where she learnt the words ‘liquid’ and ‘solid’.

She also has “Show & Tell” where each student brings in an object beginning with the letter ‘i’ and they have to talk and introduce their object to the class for confidence building and public speaking. It also expands their vocabulary – this week alone, she has learnt the words ‘incense’ through burning a real incense stick in class and smelling it, ‘instruments’ through playing with a whole set of musical instruments (teacher also tells them that those things they see at the dentist are also called dental instruments), ‘indian’ through pasting clothes on for red Indian men?? etc. The theme this semester is also clothes, culture and hats. They get to learn about costumes and cultures and everything to do with clothes.

Isn’t school funnnnn???? I wish I was back at school!

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

  1. Aw, LOL! You have to admit, that would make you forget about the liquid soap, even for a little.

I am notorious for having many bottles in the shower as well.. drives my husband NUTS!

OK. Since you’re forcing me to admit. There was a tinge of pride that my little Tee was a problem solver. Woot!
Glad to know someone with bottle obsessions too. Your pic just told me we could be friends!
