My mother has always stressed how important it is for a woman to take care of her man. Whilst I’m not sure I subscribe to this theory, I have obeyed her somewhat by exposing Tee to the kitchen and its functions. Due to countless baking adventures, Tee knows the ingredients to bake cakes by heart. She has even made her first cake all by herself, short of Mommy doing the measurements and the oven handling, for Daddy. She sifts her own flour, cuts her own butter, does her own pouring, mixing and pouring again. And sometimes, sneaks a lick off her finger when I’m not looking!
Her first cake turned out fudgy – possibly from over-stirring, I think? But Daddy loved it all the same.
Every evening when I cook dinner at 5pm, Tee helps me do SOMETHING. Today, it was peeling French beans. I let her handle pretty much everything apart from onions (due to eye smarting) and sharp knives. She peels my garlic, she washes my rice, she grates my cheese (we have a small safe-ish grater suitable for her use), whatever.
Whilst it is good that I actually have an assistant in the kitchen to help me with my cooking, plus the fact that she learns and has fun, look at how much of my French beans are going to waste!!!
This is the container where Tee is supposed to put the heads (ends) of the French bean that is to be thrown away.
*sigh*
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

Thank you. I will remember you, if she ever becomes a chef. Deal?
U r indeed such a wonderful mum to her. Aiyoh, look at that that cute face concentrating on her work!!
Hahaha…I know. It’s child labour! But it helps me get one thing out of the way.
Wow, Tee is good in that, what nimble fingers she’s got. Funny why most girl toddlers love to help out in the kitchen but once they’ve reached adolescence, they run away from the kitchen when being asked to help, eh.
Yup, let’s see how far this ‘helping’ goes. I’m counting the years…..
wow, she’s really concentrating on her task. What a good helper! Love her T-shirt!! : )
Yeah, she was really concentrating. Haha…T-shirt suits her to a T.
