Actually, Tee loves all kinds of porridge. In fact, she loves all things mushy as she is such a lazy ass who doesn’t like chewing. You’d think she was a grandmother of ninety seriously! She just wants to get things over and done with super fast so she can continue playing *rolls eyeballs*

At every shopping mall we go to, she has a favourite restaurant. In KLCC, it is Spring Garden because she loves the fish porridge. She can finish the ENTIRE bowl and we always order it with EXTRA fish. Actually, I’ve never checked the bill to see how much EXTRA they charge us (if they do) for the EXTRA fish. She honestly believes that fish makes her smart. Well, it’s true! So she loves……..ikan.

She also like frequenting Chinoz for the Hot Chocolate but at RM17++ per pop, it’s a hole burnt in my pocket not well spent. She likes it because it comes with a bloody marshmallow. Although they claim they use Valrhona chocolate, I don’t see what the big deal is. It doesn’t taste up to Valrhona standard since they give so little of the actual chocolate that you would then have to mix with hot milk. And that itself is a messy task. But one thing that’s really good at Chinoz is the salmon dish they have that costs…..I can’t remember, quite pricey…..but it is excellent.

Anyway, since Tee loves Spring Garden so much, we have now become Tai Thong members to get a discount every time we eat there. Their steamed fishes are pretty good. And their dim sum egg tarts? PERFECT!!! Very, very milky……..

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture.
