When a child is born, he is born pure, like a single white clean nucleus. As he grows, the sounds, the sights, the conditioning, the environment…….all start adding stains onto that white nucleus. It is great when those stains are clean, white additional stains, neatly attached to the nucleus; but when the stains are grey or black, and worse shapeless, the nucleus eventually becomes cancerous.

An owner of a school once told me, she has some really horrible kids at her school and there’s no controlling their rudeness, or lack of respect. But when she finally got to meet their parents, she knew why. Stroppy parenting produces stroppy kids and in turn, more stroppy adults.

Period.

Make more time for your kids today! Go spend at least an hour doing something of quality, be it playing fire-engine saving a fire, talking about ideas at school or just naming everything that starts with B for Beautiful………..

Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational.
