Malay food addiction

Posted on May 7, 2009May 7, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
On the way to Tee's school on the road just behind her school (the main road), there is a little Malay stall which serves the yummiest Malay food that makes the baby in my tummy completely ecstatic. If I can help it, I'll try not to eat there.......click to learn what next.

Sharing new blogs with readers

Posted on May 6, 2009May 4, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
It is difficult maintaining several blogs but I've got it down to a science so far (surely everything will change once the new baby arrives, haha). I can perform one post each daily for each blog, sometimes more if I'm lucky, when Tee is at school. But that.......click to learn what next.

Posted on May 2, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
Many yonks ago, when I was living with a friend in Leeds, there was not much to do in Leeds except go to the pub or visit the one and only shopping mall in the city. Of course, that was more than 10 years ago and I'm sure.......click to learn what next.

Eating in Cameron Highlands

Posted on April 28, 2009April 28, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
After an entire morning of picking up trash, hey, that's 4 kilometers mind you, of steep uphill struggles, we were famished. Our meals were all packaged up by the resort so we ate there mostly, despite cravings to get out into the town to eat real food. Breakfast.......click to learn what next.

What radio station do you listen to?

Posted on April 9, 2009 by Mamapumpkin
The only time I ever listen to the radio is when I am ALONE in the car without Tee. Otherwise, I have to bare with her cow. Her cow is a fluffy cow filled with audio CDs for the car and I hate that blasted cow. This morning,.......click to learn what next.

Snow in Malaysia??

Posted on November 23, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
OK, two guesses what the above picture is all about. For the longest time, Tee has wanted to see real snow. She wants to feel it, touch it, be in it and keeps asking us to take her to Canada or Switzerland because she wants to see snow!!!.......click to learn what next.

Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace 007

I love Hollywood flicks as much as I love the deeper British productions because I love analysing creativity. Tee dreaming of a doll house

Posted on November 10, 2008November 10, 2008 by Mamapumpkin
Lately, I've noticed how quiet Tee goes whenever she is faced with a doll house. Whilst it was my childhood dream to own a doll house (this never materialised) and it still is, the cost of it is making me think of a million reasons why we should.......click to learn what next.

Educating a four year old who is school-less

Love affair with all things sweet

The challenge of a corporate office designer

Posted on September 27, 2007 by Mamapumpkin
From my experience, majority of Malaysians don't like spending on office furniture as opposed to their foreign counterparts. If anything, they'd spend a little more on the executive offices and then stinge even more on employee comfort. CHANGING THE WORLD MOVEMENT

I love green

Once upon a time, she designed buildings and interiors of corporate offices and on the rare occasion, homes. Now, she cleans poop and is student of a patience management course. From the drawing board as a London Architect to the realities of Motherhood, she has certainly learned many lessons in humility. And then others…..

To succeed in the corporate world, first succeed with your kid as the happy boss. Seriously.

I love green

This blog is about Mamapumpkin: A strong, kick-ass Mom who works full time juggling several jobs – the full-time paid job, the raising of her 2 kids (she gets paid in kind for this) and the volunteering job for various charity organisations and parenting websites. Needless to say, she gets very little sleep (3-5 hours per day, Margaret Thatcher who used to sleep 4 hours per day during her conservative career inspires this crazy lifestyle).

Mamapumpkin intends to change the working Mom landscape in Malaysia where working women can bring their children to the corporate office of a client and not be frowned upon.

I love green

She writes about anything that comes out of her head but mostly seeks to inspire and share about all things that will bring benefits to others.

Her 2 girls drive her towards challenge after challenge, 24/7…..day after day…..and interestingly, her parents are Muslim, her in-laws Buddhist, she’s Catholic and her Hubs, an Atheist. She’s thinking her kids should be Hindu, just to complete the rainbow religion cycle.

Gotta love it.

She’d love to hear from you : Mamapumpkin at gmail dot com
