I was reading 5xMom (yes, she really is a Mom 5 times over! You’ve gotta respect THAT) yesterday when something enlightened me. She said something to the effect of how some people blog hop and leave comments in other’s blogs so they can increase their blog traffic. Well, if it is an extremely popular blog and your link is there on the comments, your chances of having someone click on you increases, right? It makes a lot of sense.
Suddenly, I couldn’t help but start wondering if people thought I only left comments in their blogs just so I could increase my blog traffic. *worried* For starters, I am so blur in this blogging hobby that I wouldn’t even know the first thing on manipulating blogs. Everything you see here is trial and error. Sometimes, if something really frustrates me, I seek the advise of the professionals. So, if you are reading this and I have commented on your blog, please know that it is from the heart.
Another thing someone else said (can’t remember who now) was how people enter blogs and leave without saying hello. I, for one, am guilty for blog hopping and not leaving a comment. Sometimes, I just don’t have anything to say! Should I make more of an effort to say something, even if it’s ‘Hi, I popped by’ ?
And then apparently, people who use other people’s blog photos or talk about other people’s blogs should link back or at least acknowledge the person’s blog.
Fair enough. I’m learning……………………………..
This whole blogging thing. So many rules!
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

Hahaha, don’t worry, there is no hard and fast rules. If something strikes you, then, just blurt out what you have in mind lor. Thanks for the mention btw. And yikes, did you wonder how I know you link me?
Err…err…no….not a good idea. I am known to blurt out stuff that my brain hasn’t caught up with yet so definitely not a good idea, to say what I have in mind. I think I am dyslexic because so many times, I have an idea and then it comes out all jumbled up through the mouth and then I get into big trouble. Can masuk ISA, you know! π
How? How? I’ve seen all this ping and trackbacks but I have no idea how to use them! *blur sotong*
I generally abide by my heart and mind and not what those ‘blogging rules’ are. π
Hey, wordpress has a superb network help support and forum. That’s where I go to when I don’t understand anything.
Keep your blogs coming sans rules (who cares!!) I really enjoy reading your thoughts! π
I like your style! I am about to get my own paid blog once this free wordpress blog runs out of space so then I’d really be in trouble because I am so IT challenged. My problem is, even when there are Help Pages, I don’t understand what the hell they are going on about. So HOW!!!???
Don’t worry, I’m a complete rookie when I started and trust me, I still am. Admist my limited time, I set up my blog, and a lot of times through the hard way. I posted up a link on my front page to ‘advise’ others how they can set up their own and what plugins to use. I don’t mind sharing whatever little information I know (trust me, I know very little) but I do go to the forum and search, and if I cannot find anything eventually, I ask ‘stupid questions’ and I then manage my way round with the answers. There are some fantastic people around who would answer our questions, no matter how unimportant or ‘stupid’ they sound. I’m never shy to ask even if it makes me sound silly.
So, if you are going to start up a WordPress blog on your own paid blog, I think I can give you some advice. And also, because we are such rookies, it is important to get a host who is able to help us. My host at hostgator is fantastic. They offer 24 hour online instant help and you will never go wrong with them. It is excellent for people like us. I strongly recommend it. Furthermore, it is not expensive, too.
Good luck! π
Thanks for the tip! You are so sweet for offering to share. I really have no clue how I’m going to transfer this over to the new site. But I’m looking forward to it. Here’s to new beginnings, buddy! *holds up champagne glass*
Cheers! My pleasure in my rookie way! π
