After our Chiang Mai trip, my cousins from Australia are now down in KL and they are MORTIFIED at our Malaysian drivers. They are constantly on edge and I must admit, the taxi van that I took from the airport was also speeding pretty fast, and I really wanted to tell him to slow down but didn’t. Why should we be subject to such aggressive driving? It isn’t fair that you put other lives in danger and our Government should really do something about it. Make them stick to a speed limit. Enforce their penalties. Remove their licenses. Do something!
I was horrified to learn of the Delima Bus Tragedy and said a prayer for all the 50 severely injured innocent people and the 12 dead. All because one man lost control of his speeding bus. Totally unfair. Government heads should ROLL for this……
Surely, there is enough technology to install something onto the buses to highlight what they are doing in real time!
There were some facebook photos going around of the accident and seriously, I gave thanks a million times over that my friends and family members and I were far from it. It was gruesome, it was horrifying, it was something that never should have happened. And I urge you to say a prayer for those dearly departed.
