Wonder Woman, Ive watched it twice and I can happily watch it a third time!!!!!
The first time, I went with my cousins from Australia for a midnight movie and it was the bomb. The second time I went with my kids and it was a bigger bomb because I could focus solely and purposefully on Chris Pine.
Oh. My. God.
I am usually not interested in Chris Pine AT ALL but in Wonder Woman, there was something in the way his eyes spoke that completely undressed me. Uhuh. You know that feeling when every cell in your body suddenly gets weak and starts melting? Yup. When I watch it the third time, I would be watching ONLY Chris Pine.
The movie was a typical DC Comic super hero movie. I didn’t think Gal Gadot was the best actress but I liked her body. Strong and fit to the max. And those legs!!!
It was an entertaining movie but really, what did it for me was merely Chris Pine in that movie. I still don’t like him on other movies.
Speaking of Wonder Woman, my small one immediately asked if she could get Wonder Woman LEGO. Mommy said yes. Daddy said no. Oops. I guess Mommy is always a yes person, huh? Mommy has to change.
We told her that she had enough toys but she explained that just like shoes and bags for a woman, a kid can never have enough toys. WTF!!! She must have heard that from me!!! So we told her that she should be making her own toys rather than buying all the time and her sister chipped in to say you needed to work for what you wanted. End of story.
Someone got wind of T2 wanting Wonder Woman LEGO and offered Daddy a discount and guess what????? Daddy bought it immediately!!!! WTF!!!! I rolled my eye balls several times over but chose not to get involved. He said he would give it to her AFTER her exams. Whatever……..
This week, she suddenly told me that Daddy bought her Wonder Woman LEGO. Huh? Did he tell her even before her exams were up? Was it a ploy to get her to work harder for her exams? Apparently not. How did she know then?
Yesterday, she told me she was so excited that she was going to get her Wonder Woman LEGO soon. Maybe on Friday. Huh? Who is fucking with me now? I asked the Hubs and he said he hadn’t told her. He thought perhaps she had been checking his wardrobe and saw it? T1 asked her, “What exactly have you done to deserve the Wonder Woman LEGO anyway???” And they started fighting as they usually do……
This morning, she asked her father, “Will I be getting Wonder Woman LEGO tomorrow?”
Daddy was shocked. He asked her, “What Wonder Woman LEGO?”
She showed him his phone and said there were messages that he had bought Wonder Woman LEGO for his daughter from his friend. Would that be her, his daughter?
BUSTED!!!!!
That’s what you get when you have a child who can read your phone messages.
