Well, I sent my child to be taught just last weekend because I had a flat tyre and Daddy had to go out to fix it at the tyre shop. Initially, Tee had said she didn’t want to go because it was going to be smelly at the tyre shop with all the exhaust fumes but I told her it was Mommy’s day off and she just HAD to go!

So off she went and she actually had a GREAT TIME!!!

Later, I asked her about her day and she told me that she had to drive Daddy’s car when the man was pumping the tyre.

“You mean, Mommy’s car….” I corrected her.
“No, I mean Daddy’s car.” She replied

“But it was Mommy’s car with the flat tyre, sweetie, so it’s Mommy’s car that you drove.”

“No, Daddy goes to work and he bought the car. So it’s Daddy’s car. You only drive it, Mommy. Daddy owns the car, not you.”

*pause*

“Oh…………..Daddy owns the car, does he?” I immediately put a note at the back of my mind to ask the Hubs what he’s been teaching our little princess.

Later, I asked the Hubs and he burst out laughing. So it’s true. He has been putting things into her head that he owns everything and I am only the driver. I wasn’t happy about that and made it known to the both of them that it wasn’t fair that Daddy owned everything and that Mommy was just the driver (and chef, and cleaner, and babysitter, and slave) and not own anything.

Tee consoled me and said, “But Mommy? It’s Okay……You own me! And that is more better than anything else!!”
