After an exhausting week, I was so looking forward to Friday, where we had nothing planned. No classes, no school, no play dates, no parties, nothing. We could sleep in, laze about and make sure the plumber knows what he’s doing. You see, we’ve had many leaks around the home front and if you’re Chinese, you’ll know that leaks are not good feng shui. Finally, the date was set for the plumber to come. A whole two months of leaks.
I was greeted this morning with a grumpy Tee who voiced out loud that she did not want any new babies in HER house. It will be me, her and her Daddy living here forever. No NEW babies. She is the ONLY baby in this house. This was after reading Angelina Ballerina and Her New Sister last night.
THEN. The plumber called to say he wasn’t coming. Wah…..after clearing my whole schedule to accommodate his arrival, he now said he wasn’t coming??!!
THEN. My mother’s maid drove me nuts (mom is in Jakarta). Just wait will I rant about maids………
THEN. Tee gave me some attitude with regards to what we were going to do today. Stay at home.
THEN. The sun was so hot that it was bloody irritating me. Does anyone have the phone number to the Sun???
THEN. The whole house just looked too cluttered.
THEN. Bloody Streamyx didn’t work.
OK. Usually it takes only 1 or 2 wrong things to set me off on a bad mood trail. But today, I had how many?
So what did we do?
