This year, despite Covid-19 and the bizarre change that has affected every life on this planet, my income doubled despite me focusing on things that did not earn me a single cent. THAT is the power of residual income and network marketing, a business I built 3.5 years ago. To date, our team has retired about 200 women from their full time jobs, improved the wellness of 5,000 families and helped 25,000 families live better. Whilst having a conversation with a friend who speaks of a Petronas Director’s income, I am honest with her that I do not have much savings. Whatever comes in goes right out and so my children will probably not be getting much of my wealth. Besides, they should be working to earn their own keep. There are far poorer families who need it more and so my choice is to help those who need it the most. We will obviously use what we need for our own living expenses. And holidays!
Many people frequently ask for donations and I am unable to stretch the dollar that far. I already have these mouths to feed and albeit by choice, it is what it is. USD 100 may not be much but when you multiply it by many people? When the income continues to escalate, the distribution will follow. My goal is to put USD10k monthly into supporting poor families teaching them to fish for life sustenance and to send one poor family on a holiday every month, so let’s say another USD3-5k. These are poor families so it will be the biggest holiday of their lives if at all. Why not?
I am crazy passionate about improving lives and growing confidence and skills in people. It used to be just women, and for a great cause too, but ever since my business started growing men as well, well……it only made sense to teach more men how to make money too. I hope my dreams will come true. For now, I am working on a new project that I hope to see to success by next year. These challenges give me the greatest buzz. My reputation precedes me, that I know, as not many people can go from A to B from nothing in the same amount of time I have. Twice. Thrice. I have made some amazing millionaire friends this year and they understand. To know how to make money, you need to have the talent of making money from nothing. Whenever I hear all these excuses of I cannot afford it, I just turn a blind eye and move on. If you knew what it meant truly, you’d force yourself to afford it x a million times.
I am always in search of the next challenge. My husband has retired but his company keeps pulling him back for this that and the other. I know that when he is truly home 24 hours round the clock, we can really do some big magic together. Or, we could just watch Netflix and K-Dramas all day and do some gardening. Cook for the kids. Read. Truth be told though, I doubt I’d be able to sit still for more than 2-3 days doing nothing. I thrive on challenges and cutting impossible deals. Really no idea where it comes from but such joy escalates whenever I am able to make another heart sing and nobody ever needs to know it was from my doing. I love that part the most. I love shocking people that such kindness exists in this world.
Last but not least, I have been contemplating shutting down this blog because I am sure nobody is reading and I am too lazy to blog and seriously only come here when I have a burst of expression or a crazy rant to vomit when I cannot do it anywhere else. Social media has just overtaken the blogosphere but what I do want to do is to start a book (my second) about my friend. Yes. I shall start that tonight itself. So many books I wish to write but nobody pushes me to do it. NOW is the time.
