I spent the last 3 days at the National Achievers Congress (my first time) and must say that despite not seeing my entire family for 3 full days and nights, I am glad that I went. It was a fantastic experience. I definitely learned a lot of tools that I could use to help more people, make more money and expand my business. No regrets. In fact, I encourage all of you to go because it is not just about money and business. It is about your life. It forces you to look within and I’m glad to be reminded that I am incredibly lucky. Somehow, God has blessed me abundantly despite the odds. I am so, so blessed. Thank you.

Lizzie Velasquez is only 26 years old, did you know that??? Holy Mother of God!!! For such a young girl, she is powerful and inspiring. She blew me away because she had that maturity and projected self-esteem. I am so proud of her parents and her. These are the real people we should all look up to seriously. THEY are the ones truly worthy of praise and accolades and incredible respect. There’s nothing like hearing them talk in real life answering impromptu questions where you can see and feel it is from the heart. I cannot wait to read her books and watch her movie and I so wanted to stand up in front of 2,000 people just to tell her how much she was so brave and powerful and amazing and inspiring I thought she was and that I would ensure my girls knew her story and look up to her too.

There was this other girl from the audience that asked Lizzie how she coped with her struggles and whilst she asked, she was breaking down. My heart went to her instantly. She was so far behind that I could not see her but we could all hear her voice. My prayers went out to her last night and I regret not just getting off my seat to check out who she was, just so I could give her a hug. Sigh. I will trust in God to protect her in this instance but I have a letter for her and for anyone else who needs a hug.

To the girl at the NAC yesterday,

Firstly, I would like to commend you on how BRAVE you were in standing up to address Lizzie amongst a crowd of thousands. How many women who are struggling and are in a dark place dare do that? Most just don’t even get out of bed and cover their heads under their duvets most of the day or hide in the cupboards. I know. I’ve been there. But you, you got out of bed and attended the NAC. Good on you!

Sometimes, life becomes so cruel that you feel you have nothing else, and the reality is that sometimes, there really IS nothing else. Your man leaves you for another woman, your children think you are the worst mother on this planet, you have no money or worse are in debt with people chasing you all over for money, sometimes through no fault of yours, your family abandons you, your closest friends are now your furthest friends (nobody wants to be near problems!), your name is tarnished in the media, your closest most loved relative dies, you get diagnosed with cancer, you failed all your exams, your boyfriend tells you he no longer wants to be with you, your Mom is always calling you names and comparing you to others, you name it. So many things could go wrong in a person’s life that it becomes difficult to cope especially when they come all at once. It is overwhelming. I’ve been there too.

So this is what I have to say to you. Despite the fact that you have lost EVERYTHING, you THINK you have lost everything, but deep down inside of you, there is still a seed of love. You need to find it because God put it in there for a reason. We all have it. If you cannot find it, let me help you find it for God’s sake. And once you have found it, learn to grow it.

Because even with NOTHING, that seed of love will get you through anything and everything. Do not give up because you were placed in this world for a reason. You may not know what that reason is, but first go find that seed of love. It could be embedded so deep that it is hard to locate but I assure you it is there.

I am currently holding the hands of a few women in despair and desperation and I am determined to get them out of their miserable holes. I can hold your hand too. Please think about it. You have a purpose. I can help you find your purpose if you struggle with it. You are not allowed to take your life because that would be the greatest sin. Life is difficult but nobody said it would be easy. If you push through and come out of this hole, just imagine what you COULD do?

You are a bright, shining star just waiting to explode out to show the world your true self. I promise you. Fight. Fight with all your might. Fight your demons. Fight the rest of the world who make you feel you are worthless and nothing. You are not.

You are something. You are something AMAZING!!! Please do this for me if not even you (for now). You can get out of this bad zone you are in right now. You just need to find that seed of love first and we will work it all out. Please.
