I have been harbouring these thoughts and since the recent uproar on social media during this MCO time has triggered a switch in me, I needed an avenue for release. My sincere apologies if you do not agree with my views but let’s agree to disagree. We are all adults after all.
A portion of demographics were raised to look up to certain stereotypes of validation and success which borders on irritation for me. Every time I chance upon humans who reveal evidence of certain mentalities, my blood pressure rises. I can physically feel my heart palpitating and start gasping for air. This of course is my own defect but I cannot help thinking that if these people were more progressive with their thought processes, we could actually communicate better as a nation and ACTUALLY make progress.
Higher than thou attitudes with language crowns
Some opine that since we are in Malaysia, we ought to speak the Malay Language and more so if we were Malay. Similarly, some show disrespect to people who do not hold a good command of English and in Malaysia, many don’t! That is no reason to be mockingly incongenial. Around the world, we would see some mastering half a dozen or more languages that give them an added superior step on the language pedestal. What good is knowing a dozen languages if you behaved as a nasty prick?
Brown Nosers of High Titles
Have you ever observed how those with titles are treated differently in this country? I have witnessed this too many times and it gnaws at my bone not because I am suffering sour grapes, God no, but because I detest any kind of patriarchal glorification. Once I was with my late Mother casually dressed at Louis Vuitton. We were there for a while because I like taking a good look at EVERYTHING but until my Mom gave them her card to pay which had a title, the staff suddenly changed their tune to a much sweeter melody.
Upon entering hotels where we were regulars, I could not stand getting special treatment from staff. In fact, I hated it. It was firstly the privilege of having a special car park right in front of the hotel foyers, then being called by title repeatedly respectfully bowed to, helping us carry the bags and leading us to our private dining rooms bringing us a myriad selection of food when others stood to pick and choose their food at buffet dinners.
This is the cue where one may grunt about my lack of gratitude but no, I totally disagree with this type of societal bias. Why? How is the titled person more human and privileged than the non-titled person? Why should a Doctor get the better seat than the Nurse? Why should the Tan Sri get away with not paying his parking ticket? We should all be treated the way we treat others and be treated how we deserve to be treated, with kindness and without prejudice. Kindness begets kindness.
This includes too the ones who endorse associations with prestigious names and brands which appreciably is understood that one graduating or coming from certain emblems deserve some extra recognition but are we so credulous to accept all clones from reputable brands to be equal? There have been cases of students who paid their way to prestigious Universities without having to go through the conventional aggressively competitive routes. I personally know some and just because someone is a Managing Director of Coca Cola doesn’t tell enough either.
Men (and Women) in Suits or Branded Apparel are God
Oh puhleeeeaze……. Just because they’re powerfully dressed speaks insufficiently of what’s inside the brain. Have you observed the ones who are always impeccably dressed and then those who are easily mistaken as common? Someone in tattered shorts and flip flops could very well walk into a Ferrari store to order it and pay for it in cash, and he could also be paying for it with stolen money or could have been the one scoring 190 on the most recent MENSA test. The lady decked in Champs Elysees from top to toe could also open her mouth to spew something completely non-corresponding to her garb like some trashy market slang only heard in a suburban trailer park.
Cyber Bullying and Netizen Bashing
There is an old adage that reminds us that if we had nothing nice, productive or constructive to say, that we should just keep our thoughts silent because what good would bashing another person do? Does it upgrade our own standards in demoralising another? Are we self motivated to pull others down instead of raising them just because they are higher than us on our perceived scale? Can we challenge ourselves to practise stronger positive mental habits in uplifting every individual who surrounds us? Remember that there are many ways to skin a cat and it is possible to rephrase our thoughts into the most tactful way, if not just a better way.
Recently, there were over 10,000 comments on a Celebrity’s SOCMED account that saddened me so much because of the filth that came out which only revealed repression on a level that is worrying. As it was, I considered migrating to surround my girls with a higher altitude of intellect but then elections happened and I had such huge hope. The mental decline of our nation is a downward spiral and we need to do something to stop this. I have tried empowering a small segment of what surrounds me but if you have a splendiferous idea, please make yourselves heard.
I thank you humbly.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
