I’m sure being up there was breathtaking………..however, I was not up there. Why? T2 decided to fall asleep on our ascent so guess who had to accompany her in our luxury van whilst she snoozed away in the Bbrrrrrr……frigging cold ChiangMai mountain air???

So whilst the rest of everyone got out and explored the modern Pagodas at The Peak, I was freezing my guts out and couldn’t move because T2 was sleeping in my arms. The luxury van door was open and the driver had gone for a long walk…….I was SO COLD!!!!!!!!

There was a modern escalator to take you up……unlike Batu Caves, which I thought would have been nicer because cool weather facilitated movement!

T1 seemed to enjoy it up there. She’s an Eskimo. We’re always fighting about keeping the air-conditioning on or off.
