Whenever time permits, we would take to the theatre to watch the Arts and last month, it was The Owl who was afraid of The Dark by Gardner and Wife. Excellent Stuff.
Look of the Day – On Mama: Top (DVF), Jeans (DP), Wedge Slip-Ons (C&K), Necklace (Australia), Bag (my favourite thrash-about Guess bag). On T2: Jumper (M&S), T-Shirt Dress (Australia), Sandals (Clarks). On T1: Jumper (Pumpkin Patch), Dress (Pumpkin Patch), Sandals (Stride Rite).
Before we went to watch The Owl who was Afraid of The Dark, we went to BV to run some errands and to have lunch. Look at T2 scolding the waiter! Dressed so sweet and demure but behaves like a…..a……pleb!
The Owl who was afraid of The Dark was fantastic! It was about a little owl called PLOP who was afraid of the dark but in his adventures, he was taught to see the good things from it – dark is exciting, dark is kind, dark is fun, dark is necessary, dark is fascinating, dark is wonderful and dark is beautiful. Such as fireworks – you can only appreciate fireworks if it was displayed in the dark, right? Such as the stars! What would we do with stars if there was no night time? And you know what? I cannot remember the rest of the play. I’m sure T1 can but she’s at school right now.
All I remember is that they started spraying water at us seated at the front row and we had to run for cover! It was HILARIOUS!!! Plus there was a part where there were fireballs (fake) being thrown at the audience and wherever there was a fire, they had to put it out with water, right? The Hubs got a fireball and when he realised this, he quickly threw it away to someone else (as he didn’t want to be sprayed) BUT he got caught and for getting caught, they came around to him and unloaded onto him pails of water till he was drenched! All in good fun. They also threw poopie balls at the audience – the kids LOVED IT. All the kids in the audience – except T2, of course.
The Owl who was afraid of The Dark (by Jill Tomlinson) – if you ever get a chance to catch it anywhere in the world (better still if it comes back), I highly recommend it.
**************************************************************************Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

everyone’s looking very nice 🙂
