Tee had 3 one hour swimming lessons last year at our local club and because she has learnt to put her head underwater and can wade from A to B, she thinks she can swim. Mind you, she CAN swim. Well, sort of….in a ‘chaplang’ sort of way. She can swim/move without floaties from one end to another. However. She does not dare do this in a big pool where her legs cannot reach the ground. If her legs CAN reach the ground, she has a backup should anything go wrong (like if a shark suddenly appeared, you know, in a swimming pool…….she could put her feet down and run for her life). But when it is deep, there is no backup. And she would risk dying. Hence, she always insists on floaties when going into the deep end. *roll eyeballs*
Yet, whenever anyone asks her if she can swim? I will say, not really….sort of. And she will give me that frown, then confidently exclaim, “Of course, I can swim!” She truly believes that being able to put your head underwater for a couple of seconds and being able to glide across that you are already an Olympic swimmer.
Whatever. See? My Olympic swimmer……still wears floaties in the deep end.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
