My lil girl’s sense of smell is very strong. Possibly because I allowed her to smell many things from a very young age. Broken leaves, the sea breeze, peppermint tea, vanilla pods, flower petals…….these were just some of the smells she sniffed as a young tot. Coke’s not on the list. I used to test her as well and she’d get it right. Every time.

Now that she’s three, she’s extremely sensitive to the smells around us. This is both good and bad. Good that she appreciates the finer aromas of life. Bad that she cannot stand the slightest whiff of garbage. Good that the smell of oven baked pasta whets her appetite. Bad that she needs to escape the zoo NOW because elephants are stinky.

I myself love scent. So perhaps it’s genetic. Lately, I’ve had to put all my bottles of perfume away because my little vain pot insists on spraying perfume on herself after which she’d intoxicate herself by sniffing it as if she was sniffing glue. And then, she loves the essential oils that I burn wanting to blow the candle out every time. And sniff, sniff, sniff…….I have some of the most wondrous smelling essential oils……

Speaking of which, did you know that the scent of the blue lotus flower is believed to produce happy feelings all over, every inch of your body? Mmmm……….

Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
