T2’s first road trip

Last year, at 15 months old, we braved a road trip to Melaka with the girls. Seriously, the Hubs and I, we are not that adventurous when it comes to travelling with kids. The thought of crying and whining kids, needing to make stops for two hundred pee sessions or God forbid, a sick kid who vomits in the car! No, we’d much rather stay home and play jigsaw puzzles…….Even just sitting and staring at each other becomes more appealing.

So far, we’ve travelled across the oceans with T1 up to 38 hours of travelling at one stretch but that was with ONE kid. T1 has travelled East, North East, North West and South. She’s done a lot of air miles, that girl. Now we have two. So yeah, the furthest we dared was Melaka, what we thought would be a 2.5 hour drive at most.

Boy, were we wrong.

As you can see, what we dreaded had begun before we’d barely begun!

And the traffic was incredible……

We crawled the entire journey.

It was not fun at all…..but thankfully, the girls knocked out soon enough.

One out. Two out. Rejoice!

After an hour, we had only arrived here in Nilai.

We finally arrived in Melaka at the God forsaken hour of late afternoon when we’d left late morning…..I don’t think we’ll be doing Melaka any time soon. We quickly checked in and went down for some lunch.

And I cannot remember why now but T1 had some drama and started crying…….

I think she was tired more than anything. I really cannot remember why she was crying now…..but her sister comforted her, as always.

The one good part of our trip, and really, the sole reason we went to Melaka, was to visit the pregnant lady from Melaka. She cooked for us authentic Nyonya food at her kampung. After dinner, the drive back to the hotel was jammed up again!

After we arrived back at the hotel and looked down, it was still jammed! That was almost 11pm! What’s up with Melaka? No longer a small town!!!

With enough traffic jams to last an entire year, we quickly made our way back the next day to KL and again, my angels slept the whole way through…….

Phew and Double Phew.

That will be the last road trip we make for a long time.

Who is Mamapumpkin?
Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
Show your support and spread the love!
