We have finally found him – the BEST swim coach in KL.

T1 has had 5 different swim coaches prior to EJ from Swimin12 – Read Swim In 12 Hours.

Well, after her 5 swim coaches, of course, she already knew how to ‘swim’ but she was far from being a ‘proper’ swimmer, if you know what I mean. I am of course extra critical when it comes to swimming as I was a competitive swimmer so I know a good stroke from frog dancing.

We had actually won some swimming lessons from the Children of Myanmar’s Kid’s Bazaar and thus were blessed to be able to sample Swimin12’s creative approach in getting kids to learn not only how to swim but to be water safe in the pool AND in the ocean. I was impressed and T1 loved him!

The guy loves kids and is passionate about getting kids to be comfortable with water and love water……

Very important step.

T1 started with an out of pool warm up. All her other warm ups had been inside the pool doing laps previously so this was a refreshing change.

After a few lessons, T1’s strokes are now much, much better and she’s learnt to dive into the deep end. Finally!!!

She can finally compete in the Olympic pool like a quasi-professional frog dancer.
