Malaysian elections are coming up – HAhahahaha!!! And so is the US…..fun!
When we were in Kota Bharu last week, our Prime Minister was there on Monday. Our Deputy Prime Minister headed over on Friday. The whole of KB was busy queuing up for cash. Yes, if you’re desperate enough, you can queue up for RM100 but you have to be of a certain race. However, this year, even the Chinese political party came to Kelantan to dish out some cash but we missed that. The Hubs was all geared up to go get some cash (he was kidding, of course! You have to queue for hours in the hot sun!) but his Dad told him he would have to convert first and wear a sarong.
I used to know someone in politics way back when I was a kid and it is no secret that they are given cash of 1 million (who knows what the going rate is now?) to dish out in buying votes. The cash is carried by the politician’s aides in briefcases, like the mafia. I’m sure this happens in other countries too so really, it is no secret.
It’s all a game! Let’s play!
On another note, I am really pissed because Outlook has taken a life of it’s own and is being real bitch these past few days. I spent several hours replying to blog comments and the bitch just refuses to send them. Mr Microsoft, you really ought to have warned us before we got married that Outlook has pre-menstrual tendencies. Grrr…….If it doesn’t send by this weekend, they’re all getting the boot into the trash can.
It is 6.51am and I’m off to get dressed for yoga class. 🙂
