Following on from Agnes asking her elder daughter if she would want to marry a rich man or a poor man when she grew up, I asked my 7 year old, T1, the same question, completely curious!!!

Any guesses??

T1 has been exposed to the lifestyles of both rich families and poor families and gets along with both very well so your guess is as good as mine. I had no clue what her answer would have been.

This is how it went…….

“When you grow up, would you like to marry a rich man or a poor man?”

“I DON’T KNOW!!!”, she said in a tone that meant what a ridiculous question!

“What do you mean you don’t know. You have to decide, which would you prefer?”

Not having thought for very long at all, she goes “Mmm…..Medium.”

“What is medium?”

“Not rich, not poor.”

“Why? It has to be either rich or poor!”

“Nah, I want to marry someone just like my Dada – not too rich, not too poor. I want to remember my Dada forever.”
