As you may already know, I spend a lot of time in Putrajaya. One fine day, whilst running another errand over the weekend, the Hubs and I decided to check out The Pullman, supposedly a 7 star hotel that chased all other ranks of hotels away from opening up in Putrajaya. So the Hubs, of course, had to go have a look.

Ladies and Gentleman,

I present to you, the French Pullman……..but in Malaysia.

I was not impressed from the outside.

But got more impressed as we entered…..

Clean spanking grounds……great for kids to run around in. When you have toddlers, all you ever consider is if somewhere is safe and fun for them.

Lots of stairs to climb for T2! A perfect workout to an early nap *thumbs up*

The grounds are really huge. They even have a little pagoda type clock tower.

That you can actually climb up if you’re ambitious! Or if you want to see the lake view from up high!

But look, so many orbs in the games room 🙁 – this means it’s hardly ever used.

I didn’t let T2 enter the games room so she wasn’t too happy.

I found a light that I really liked but my crappy camera couldn’t capture it. Oh well.

There was a jetty by the hotel where you could rent paddle boats out etc.

There was also a group having a party by the hotel where they had hammocks!

Yes, definitely worth a stay at under RM300 off peak. When they caught me taking pictures of the hotel interior (which was very nice, very contemporary French), they stopped me from taking pictures. But when I said I was a blogger, Mamapumpkin, do they not want me to promote their hotel, they politely obliged. Hrmpf.

Why would a hotel not allow you to take photographs of their interior? For fear of competition? That’s just ridiculous. Anyway, I have chosen not to put up the photos of their interior. Giving them exposure for their name alone is sufficient. Had they been more gracious, I would have done a lot more for them but anyway, still a great weekend getaway for kids!
