Practising her Math with Aliens

For the longest time, T1 has struggled with her multiplication tables. At this level doing Standard Two work, she needs to know her times table up to 6. Next year when she does Year 4 work, she’ll need to know it till ?? possibly 6 as well but I could be wrong. The multiplication tables were exposed to her during Chinese New Year this year and from then, I have been trying to encourage her to learn it.

Life for HER would be so much simpler.

But studying from a piece of paper is so boring and unless Mama has time to actually test her regularly, the facts will not retain. She understands the concept, which is good, so at worst case, she would draw lines out to count and group them. She does division the same way. But if only she just knew her times table, life for her really would be so much simpler!

Then I met my cousin’s son, who was in Standard Two in Kuen Cheng Primary and he knew his times table up to 12 REALLY WELL. I was well impressed and asked him how he had learnt it. He said he was made to recite it at school ALOUD like a soldier. Too funny.

So I made T1 recite her times tables aloud for a few days. TECKKKKKK!!!!!

Fail.

Then! A wonderful friend introduced me to Squeebles. Tadaaaaaaa!!!!

Both my daughters love playing. They have loved playing since the second they were born. And with Squeebles, it’s all about releasing those ugly aliens. But you can’t release them if you don’t know your times tables……A-Hah!

So what do you do? You practise and play, play and practise, and practise and play and before you know it, HEY! You know your multiplication tables already! How cool is that.

So that, is how T1 learned her multiplication tables.

You are welcome.

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

A beautiful life without limits.

If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
Show your support and spread the love!
