It seems that my life is surrounded by monsters. No wonder Tee keeps saying there are monsters in the house!

Recently, I discovered another monster that poops every single time after a feed and sometimes several times after a feed. How does a little thing so tiny produce so much POOP???? I am thankful that she has good poop though, all yellow, mustardly and toothpasty in texture, sometimes more runny than others. And her poop hardly smells, phew! For now anyway.

T2 has been a really angelic baby. She is like a kitten who whimpers, not cries out loud. She whimpers when she is the slightest bit wet, or if she’s had a poopie, or if she is hungry. Only when we do not respond to her whimpers does she augment her volume and even then, it is soft compared to Tee’s voice when she was born. She sleeps a lot too and is putting on good weight. She now weighs in at 2.7kg after dropping to 2.2kg from her birth weight of 2.4kg. The Doctor said she is doing well and on track, and for such a tiny thing, is very healthy.

I can’t believe I am breastfeeding exclusively. T2 is now 2 weeks old and I must say I find breastfeeding a lot easier than formula feeding or pumping then bottle feeding, which is what I did for Tee.

I have this gut feel that T2 is a baby that is quiet on the outside but is actually very smart and manipulative. She’ll be controlling us from behind the scenes, no doubt.
