Playdate with Alice, the Bento Queen

Last year sometime, at very short notice, we invited the Bento Queen from Penang over to play. The kids had fun with playdoh and I didn’t have fun cleaning up, but you just need to make some sacrifices every now and again.

T1 was very anal about playdoh dropping on the floor and being rubbed into the carpet (which is a good thing) but when you have guests, you cannot impose so many rules till it becomes pointless playing playdoh, right?

They truly had a lot of fun with the playdoh……

After playdoh, we had lunch. T2 kindly shared her high chair with her baby guest and sat on her own mobile booster seat.

After lunch, we went downstairs to show Bento Queen around my place. The kids shared their fruit, so cute! 5 months old!

Maybe it was 7 months old, since T2 can almost stand already. Oh, who cares…..

Whilst the babies shared fruit, the big kids blew bubbles for their delight. Oh no, I see T2 crawling on the floor in the background – yuck!

They also had a go at the bicycle and the scooter……..it was a glorious day.

And when we got to the poolside, there was no stopping them despite the fact that we were not prepared at all to swim.

Look at the 2 monkeys in their underwear! They stripped their pants off and decided that bathing suits were as good as knickers anyway, so what the heck!

They kept begging and begging if they could go in and we kept saying NO!

T2 explaining to Baby G about the bird on the tree……

And look what happened?

Oops! They pretended to fall in and voila! They were soaked close to naked…..

The two gorgeous babies watched their elder siblings with eagerness……

I plonked T2 onto the rock for a rest.

And after a wonderful, wonderful play date, I made T1 wash all the playdoh toys before the end of the day. T2 happily cheered her on. Can you see her little hands clapping below? There were no complaints.

I love days like these. Simple and enjoyable. No frills. No pretenses.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.

She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.

Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.

Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
