It is hardly winter as you would imagine where I’m headed to but it is winter enough for me! Yup, 10 degrees Celsius is definitely TOO COLD for me. Plus we are all down with the nastiest of viruses and have been in bed ALL DAY for the last 4 days!!! I kid you not. My two girls and I, all we’ve done is sleep, drink, shower, sleep, take meds, sleep, drink, take meds, sleep. No appetite. I even wear a jacket in KL with no fan, no air-cond.

And we leave in a few hours…..

I haven’t even packed! So much to do that I cannot even think of packing!

Lucky for me though, a great friend who travels a LOT gave me a copy of her packing list to help me so I don’t have to think so hard and now, packing for anywhere has become a breeze……

All I have to do is add in the numbers and tick. Then go look for the stuff and throw it into the suitcase. Voila!

You should create one. It really helps. Draw up an Excel sheet and think of all the things you would need for a beach holiday, then a cold country and a hot country and don’t forget to include toiletries and your mobile medicine cupboard because you always need this with kids. Save this list for every other holiday that you go to – that’s what you call a professional traveller!
