Whilst having our tea together today, Tee asks out of the blue,

“Mom? Why did you give away all my baby clothes? Now the baby won’t have any baby clothes.”

“Because Mommy’s friend needed them at that time.”

“But why didn’t she buy her own baby clothes?”

“Because he was very poor. He didn’t have a job.”

“How come? He had no school?”

“He did have school…..but he didn’t do his homework. All he wanted to do was play and watch TV. He wasn’t interested in doing any school work. So he couldn’t get into big school, and then he couldn’t get into University. And then he couldn’t get a job. If you want to get a job, you have to get into University and to get into University, you need to do your school work. So if you want to get a job, you better do your school work, ok? Mommy and Daddy will be very happy if you became a Doctor. Any doctor and Daddy has already said that he will be your receptionist. Then when Mommy and Daddy are old, you can treat us for free.”

“NO!! You have to pay me!!”

“WHAT?!?!! We are your parents! Why should we pay you?! We are already going to spend our live savings just so you CAN be a doctor. It should be free!!! We will be so old by then and we cannot work for money anymore. We NEED free consultation from a doctor!!”

“But if I give you free, then everyone also will want me to give them free?!”

“NO!!! You charge everyone else, just give your family free consultation…..”

“OK, but only those who live in this house, ok? Otherwise, I can’t make any money. Actually, I think I’m going to have my office in the jungle where there are lots of snakes.”

“Why?!”

“So you won’t come, hahahahahaha…….”

*pause*

“Mom? What if I become a fish spa lady instead?”

“What is a fish spa lady?”

“The lady who works in the fish spa….”

“Well, you wouldn’t make much money then.”

“I think I want to be a fish spa lady so I can go to the fish spa everyday.”

“Ok, whatever makes you happy.”

“No, no….I change my mind. I want to be like Dr Patrick. He is a body doctor.”

“Dr Patrick is a pediatrician. He is a children’s doctor.”

“Ya, ya….I want to be a children’s doctor.”

So this is put on record to see if Tee really becomes a doctor or not, hahahaha…..
