Today, with only three hours of sleep, yet with a dozen things to do, I instructed the Hubs that he needed to entertain Tee ALL DAY as I couldn’t afford to lose even a minute. He looked at me with worry but agreed. Well, he didn’t have a choice.
In the morning, he took her to the bank, then to the Book Room (library). Then came home with a take-out lunch. They played some golf, some chess, did some drawing and by the time it was 3pm, I found them like this.
Tee was wide awake watching cartoons and the Hubs had passed out. Totally.
When I take care of Tee everyday, I go on till 8pm rain or shine. This man, with a full 8 hours of sleep last evening, was STILL exhausted after HALF a day with Tee. So since he was sleeping, she got bored of cartoon and started coming to me instead. I woke the Hubs up and made him take her down to cycle her bicycle and skoot on her scooter. They finally came back at five, had a bath, had a quick pasta dinner and I’m about to put her to sleep.
In the meantime, the Hubs is now about to pass out standing.
