Last year, one of our Mamapumpkin girls was due to go into hospital for heart surgery and one of the lovely ladies from here (Kiki Quah, to be exact) organised a surprise party for her just before she went in. It was to give her hope, support, joy, love, laughter, and generally to show her that we are all behind her so don’t worry, it will all be fine.
Kiki got her party committee together pretty quick and started delegating. I was not involved at all but was amazed at how many women who have never met each other came together for a common cause to lift one girl’s spirits up. Inspiring much? It was pure love!!!
Every one of us contributed something (well, thanks to Vien, who hand wrote every single one of those notes of love!) offering Kerry our services and gifts in a HAPPY BASKET, be it babysitting services or being her driver for the day, or offering book vouchers or family photos, or a magic bolster for her restful recovery, or some chocolate or cupcakes, or gosh, I cannot remember what else! But it was an overflowing HAPPY BASKET with lots and lots of love, I can assure you. We even had a professional boudoir photographer in the form of Sammy Khoo.
Of course, not every girl could make it but look at what a great turn out it was!!! Thank you so much, girls, for making it a day to remember for Kerry, and to put our money where our mouth is, for I am certain, she felt the love.
And for the girls who never met each other yet formed such a strong sisterhood, I’m watching you!

Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
