Selamat menyambut Hari Malaysia!
My little patriot above whom I love to bits……..headless, for she is now officially 8 years old and I intend to protect her privacy a little bit more even though she claims it’s still OK for her face to be plastered across the internet. Oh, doesn’t she just love the attention.
How has your Malaysia month been, yo?
Merdeka and Malaysia Day were both awesome weekends for us. T1 has her final exams in 2 weeks and just today, we started studying a little. Today, we made her learn all the names of the Greek Gods and we succeeded! If anyone wants a speed lesson on how to teach your kid how to memorise the 12 Gods of Ancient Greece and what they were all responsible for within half a day, pay me RM1.00 and I will tell you!
Merdeka weekend was spent jollying a gala time at a hotel and watching the fireworks, Malaysia Day weekend was spent studying Ancient Greece. That’s not entirely true. We also celebrated T1’s birthday (yes, yet again!) at an old friend’s place together with their first born who shares the same birthday as T1 where we had a wonderful, heart warming evening. Incredible.
I had a great day today and I’ll tell you why.
1. T1 learnt the ins and outs of the Ancient Greek Gods. Hurray! It’s probably the only thing she will be learning out of the entire History book she has but who cares. It’s the learning experience we were after that made it truly a family affair, not scoring an A for History. Now, the Hubs, me and T1, all know the Greek Gods. Even T2, who picked up along the way……
2. I found parking in Mid Valley the moment I entered, right in front of the travelator entrance at that! Whilst I was driving to Mid Valley, my friend had already suggested I find my pillows somewhere else for the fear of zero parking and the Hubs forbade me to bring the girls to Mid Valley because everyone knows how crazy MV gets on a public holiday. Heck, I went to Ikea the day before and it was an Ethiopian famine! T1 had wanted to eat Ikea meatballs but not a chance, poor girl…..the queues at Ikea ran right up to beyond the lift from the food counters. We found out why today……free drink for Hari Malaysia. O_o
3. I bought 2 huge pillows and 2 bolsters from Jaya Jusco (on sale cheap!) and because I had to single handedly carry them all by myself despite not having finished my errands at Mid Valley, the Jaya Jusco cashier staff first walked away to find me a large trolley failing which (because it was so frigging super crowded! I swear, an epidemic outbreak could have happened in a wink of an eyelid) he walked away again to find me some string so that I could carry the bulk of it easily. He then tied it for me and got me sorted. Who would have known?! In the past, all Jaya Jusco staff had failed me but today, I have renewed faith in them. I wish I had gotten the man’s name despite having to rush off because he was awesome. In all of Malaysia, it is so hard to find people like him. He really went out of his way for me despite the frigging queues so thank you again, Sir, you at Jaya Jusco. May great blessings be bestowed upon you from here on.
4. I received two lovely emails this week from people whom I don’t normally keep in touch with but they still made the effort to email me with stuff to help me with. Thank You. I’ll put their initials here – LHH and HLW.
5. I did not do an ounce of work all weekend. Hurray! But I have a few hundred pages of legal docs to vet tomorrow. BLAH……
6. I cannot wait for the reality of my girly trip next month. Woohoo!!! Last night, T1 was watching a movie with us and she kept asking me if that city really looked like that because why the heck would I want to go there?! She then asked if there was a nice part to the city or was that it? Was I going to the nice part or not? She was truly concerned for her Mama going away and leaving them babies behind…..
7. I had a wonderful chat today with T1’s piano teacher because T1 was late for her own piano lesson. The girl had followed her Dad out to get groceries and they’d forgotten about piano lesson! I even reminded them several times to be home by 5pm. It was an opportunity though for me to get to know her piano teacher…..simple things like this make me happy. I instructed her to crack the whip on T1 – Muahahaha!!
8. A friend thanked me this evening for my friendship. You cannot imagine how big my heart grew and how humbled I felt. Thank You. Friendship has nothing to do with what I buy you or what you buy me, where you take me or where I take you; it is about love, the realities, and the sincere desire to bring the other to higher positive places. It is a connection of minds and hearts and the mutual craving for each others extraordinary happiness.
9. The Hubs agreed today to get the girls Moll desks after a year of requests. I’m still working on that Chanel bag……..he said he’d buy me a new SUV but not that bag!
10. I made progress with the home De-Clutter project today. Awesome Blossom…..
There. So many reasons for going to bed happy tonight as I kiss my little angels good night. Thank You to the Higher Being for allowing this all to happen.
Good night and I hope you ALL have an amazing day tomorrow.
xx

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.
