Tee had initially wanted a Ben10 Birthday Cake for her Green Birthday Party but I managed to talk her out of it. For some reason, I had notions of lesbianism when my daughter asked to have a Ben10 cake. Don’t ask.

So phew! We settled on a Madagascar cake which was very well done, I might add. It was a lovely, lovely unsweet and very chocolatey moist chocolate cake with SWEET buttercream icing. The cupcakes were also not too sweet but the icing was. At least people had the option of manipulating their own sweetness of the cake. Sigh, now that I’m talking cake, I’m craving cake…..wish there were more of that birthday cake!

I highly recommend these cake people. And no, I don’t get any commission. When something is good, it’s good. I’ll happily say it’s good.

After 5 attempts of cake tasting with them at various parties, they have been very consistent with their cake taste.

The hotel had provided us with a nice cake table, all decked in green fabric but at the eleventh hour, without my knowledge nor control, since the kids were so into swimming, the cake cutting was held at some ad hoc table by the pool. And almost as though Tee had made prior plans with Nana to bring dozens of candles, the both of them were busy putting an assortment of candles onto the cake till other kids were asking why there were so many candles, isn’t she five???

In fact, some kids even asked why there were so many cakes, haha….This is Tee, my FIVE YEAR OLD GIRL!!!

So since we didn’t use the hotel cake table, guess who ended up using it???

It became T2’s diaper change table – oops!
