Yes, it has been a couple of weeks now with my kids back at school and I can tell you quite honestly that my kids are loving school. YES!!! They are absolutely loving school!!!
After more than a year of Homeschooling and being at home 24/7 with their Mama, they asked to be back at school and now that they are back, they don’t ever want to leave school again. Hahahaha!!! What excellent strategy on my part.
Even T2 who has very little exposure with school and attended school even without reading fluently or knowing how to count having never been exposed to ANY Math, is loving school. At Reception, they teach them all they need to know thus I’m glad we didn’t have to waste any money sending her to Pre-School or Nursery prior to starting BIG SCHOOL. Instead, she got to play, play, play and more play. She got to brush up on her emotional skills, her confidence, her self-esteem, her self-directed independence, her knack for being naturally curious as a child, and most of all, she felt loved. With only this, she has bounced with ease straight into a real school system where there are almost 2,000 students and up to 16 years old in a big, big, big overwhelmingly sprawled space of what is her new life.
Every morning, they wake at 5.40am because they are THAT excited to get to school but still have to wait for us parents to wake at 6.15am because we are NOT excited to get out of bed. At All. By 7.15am, they’re out the door to the bus stop where they catch the big bus to school. At school, they go about their lessons of the day and have break and lunch there and then take the bus home to the bus stop whereby I have to pick them up again and they’d be fighting to tell me all about their day at school. I just love hearing their chitter chatter about their day at school. They sound like they have so much fun at school.
And you’ll never believe this. Yesterday, T1 had a tooth problem so she had to skip school to go to the dentist. She followed me around all day to run errands and finally after we picked T2 up from the bus stop (yes, T2 took the bus by herself without big sister taking care of her, I am SO PROUD of her!!!), we came home and T1 got a call from her school friend where she IMMEDIATELY left my side and went to her bedroom to chat quietly to her friend. Hrrmphhhhhh. Need some privacy, girl??? Anyway, I was eavesdropping and heard my T1 saying to her friend, “You know, today I didn’t go to school and I missed it SO, SO MUCH!!! I miss all of you. Yeah, I know….Staying at home is so boring, right??? Yeah, I LOVE SCHOOL SO MUCHHHHH!!!!”
Bloody hell, I freaking hope so after the kind of fees we pay for……… <school.>
T2 on the other hand is also loving school despite having homework once a week over the weekend and having to study spellings and ejaans. Goodness me. Her class teacher is really, really good and inspires the kids to do thing by themselves, motivates them and brainwashes them into thinking they are such champions for learning their spellings. LOL!!! So much so that yesterday, whilst T1 was baking chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen with me cooking dinner, T2 chose to enter the kitchen to study her spelling in the form of playing teacher. We have a white board in the kitchen for me to write down grocery supplies required and she used it to play teacher teaching us the words YOU, ME, IN, IS and TO. Hahahaha. I swear, she had so much fun playing teacher that she actually learnt how to spell all the words by heart. So we shall see if the result is a 5 out of 5 next week.
Meanwhile, T1 comes home to teach me Science, History or Geography, all things that I never knew because I went through the Malaysian education syllabus, and heck, I was in the Science Stream. She has taught me about World War 1, the definition of weathering and the various processes of weathering and its’ different types and some facts about our blood. The good thing is I know she’s paying good attention during class to be able to regurgitate all these facts after school. The bad thing is she’s starting to wonder how come her Mom knows nought!!! Freaking hell. I’m going to start having to pretend that I am actually GOOD at something before she starts telling everyone that her mother is only good for loving them. And oh, facebook…..
Praise the Lord. Thank you, Nana, for helping the girls adjust so well at school and for making it such an enjoyable and fun journey for them. I could not be happier seeing them truly enjoy their schooling life. It is in fact an exciting adventure and journey that will shape them into being useful, successful adults; as prescribed by the school. My kids are loving school so much that it is such joy to have them at home now.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
