Honestly, I wish I was more vain. I know of friends who eat very little just so they can stay in shape as it is so important to them to look good. Then there are friends who MUST put make up on whenever they leave the house. My Mom has always nagged me to dress better and leave the house more groomed. I’m trying! But obviously not enough because sometimes, I still feel blagh and don’t want to put on a single drop of make up. How does one put make up on after being face NAKED every single day for more than 10 years? Besides, people who judge you on how you look rather than what you do are idiots. Actually, that isn’t true. There’s a fine line.
Image matters. What image do you want people to perceive you as? For the longest time, I did not care. People will like me for me, not how I look, right? Unfortunately, it’s not so straightforward. Like it or not, people do judge. You don’t have to spend hours grooming yourself but as long as your hair is neat and clean, your body is clean and your clothes are ironed and your shoes are clean, you’re good to go. Some lipstick would be nice, just to add a touch of colour. Rather than uncombed hair, smelly armpits, shirt with collar sticking out etc.
I must admit though that when I do put some paint on, I do feel a little pretty but honestly, sometimes I feel like an idiot too. I just wish I had a good body but I love food so much. I’m still working on my mind to come to terms with the fact that if I want a good body, I HAVE to stop eating the way I do because I do not have a high metabolic rate and I cannot afford to eat the way I do if I want to have a slim, fit body!
*groan/moan/groan*
Mind over matter.
I obviously have more matter……..
Bwahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
What about you? At what point to you groom yourself when you leave your home? Is it important to dress up and look good? How much make up is enough?

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture. She then spent 7 years as a Stay At Home Mom raising her children as documented in this blog of over 15 years thereafter returning to the Corporate World stronger than ever as the Country Director of a British Multinational. She sets out to prove to all, that you can have anything and everything that you want; if you have that fire of desire burning within and the drive to work hard. Even better with much love.
Mamapumpkin has not only grown corporate businesses successfully in the past but has grown not one but TWO network marketing businesses in the notorious MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) industry, achieving success in under 2 years. She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
If you wish to learn some tools to propel your life forward guaranteed, be brave enough to make contact as her life's purpose is to build people. She operates through a discovery call after which she will commit to helping you. Or not.
Most lose out on an opportunity because they are afraid they would be sold to, conned or whatever fear resides in their brain without even trying. And that's on them.
Mamapumpkin is a living testimony that women really can have a lot. Being financially and time free has enabled her to travel the world anytime, anywhere, doing anything, and she spends most of her days with her children, having fun, and supporting others wherever she can. Also having fun.

I’m one that hates to put on make up, waste of time and like you say, I look like an idiot if I suddenly do that out of the blue since I’ve not been doing that for years. Only time exceptional would probably be wedding dinners
The heat makes it so unbearable to even dress up..also I do have the weight issue to deal with.
I only dress up for church and work, the other times its just shorts!! and lipstick 🙂
