As lucky as we are, we have been invited to 2 holidays this year but unfortunately, they both happen to be after the baby is born. This is fine by me but the Hubs, being as anally retentive as he is, at this point in time, refuses to accept any holiday offers because they are to cold places and he worries that a young baby at the age of 2 months and 4 months (which is how old baby will be at travel time) may be susceptible to catching the flu or other infections. Plus without reputable hospitals around, he is apprehensive at best.
However, the thought of missing these holidays crushes my heart to the core, because man, who the hell wants to miss out on a holiday, let alone two! Tee says we should just go without Daddy and leave the baby with Daddy. If only…..
I am hoping that baby is so healthy and easy going that the Hubs will change his mind about these holidays. After all, Tee’s first flight was when she was 4 months old, although his argument was that it was to a warm climate i.e. Langkawi. But then her next flight to winter was as a 7 month little dumpling in a bassinette! But he says, that’s when she already crossed the 6 month mark. Pfffttt!!!

Mamapumpkin spent 7 years in London committing crimes to gain her Bartlett degree in Architecture.
