T1’s Birthday Laughs – she made me laugh 5 times today. I feel blessed.
Whilst driving home at noon into our home, I spotted a white man who’d just finished his run soaked in sweat with headphones on and commented, “That guy is crazy. It’s SO HOT!!! Why is he running at this time? He’s crazy.” And T1 said, “It’s not so bad. He’s bald!! All his heat can escape fast through his head.”
In the car, she was blurting out taglines such as the MYVI tagline (building people, cars first – errrr…..what??), Honda (The Power of Dreams), Maggi Mee (Happiness is Homemade), Ecotint (It’s not just a tint, it’s ECOTINT) etc. and I asked her what her school’s tagline was. She was lost. OMG, T1!! You don’t know your school tagline??? Well, it’s not like I see it everyday outside the car window like these other taglines!! Yes, that’s what my daughter does, observes the view outside the car window and absorbs very useful things such as taglines. This conversation turned to car tints as she suddenly pointed out to exactly 3 cars within sight in a traffic jam and said, “Look! All these illegally tinted cars. They ought to be shot. Where are the police? They should be here to enforce the rules. Instead, they’re in the office drinking coffee. And then when the boss comes in, they drop their coffee and pretend to be working.” – where the heck she gets all this from, I have no idea!!! She has also ignored the fact that some people have legal car tints….
Mom, you know, we should design a chair with holes. Huh? What in the world for? Well, if chairs had holes, then we could fart easily and the fart would have a place to escape to. Right now, I always have to lift my bum slightly to fart on a chair otherwise it can’t come out.
On the ride home this evening listening to the radio, every station didn’t have continuous music and I kept flipping channels. Without any prompting from me as T2 was asleep, T1 started, “I don’t like all these talking either. Don’t all these radio stations know that they are killing themselves with all these talk?!” So I explained to her about radio advertising but I loved that she so matter of factly opined that they were killing themselves. Like she was some marketing guru, so grown up – LOL!
Darn, I can’t remember now the last laugh of the day.

She believes in the MLM business model but realises the DRASTIC PITFALLS and great stigma attached to it, understanding EXACTLY WHY the majority would shy away (or RUN for their lives) from ANY MLM business. But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
