What can I say-what can I say-what can I say???

My firstborn turned SIX this week. Holy moly! SIX? Are you sure???? Gosh! That’s like her reaching University, for me. I think I’m going to go into tears now. My dearest T1 has officially stopped being a preschooler. I cannot take it so I think I will go into denial. It didn’t matter that she was 5 going 50, she will always be my little crazy baby. Wasn’t that just a week ago? Maybe I’m onto pre-Alzheimers…..

For the first time ever, we had a simple birthday party with only 3 kids; 1 friend and his 2 little sisters, and it was perfect. It was held at Burswood park playground with a whole team of Ozzie adults cranking up the good ol’ Barbecue. Finally, a BBQ!!! No stress, no fuss, just free and easy…….

I want birthdays to be like this EVERY YEAR!!!

We didn’t even have to decide on her cake. Our cousins got it for her and she was all happy with it! Kids are amazingly easy to please…….especially in Perth.

Does that mean the cake was A-ok? Party A-ok? You know how my primadonna T1 has very high standards? She was happy. Very happy. I’ll bet it was Perth…..

The kids had a smashing time playing in the playground, then running around the park and finally some big bubbles!!!

And not forgetting little sister, T2……she had a smashing day too celebrating Che-Che’s birthday!!

The weather was glorious. It must be Perth…..
