Living without a maid and two kids of which one is a baby, is a real challenge. There is no time to do anything when baby is awake as you’re either feeding, cleaning or putting them to sleep. And that alone takes up the entire day if you need to cook as well. Yet, there is so much to do.

Everyday, whenever baby is asleep (if at all!), I try to get as much laundry done as that is the most critical task to be accomplished. Cleaning the house is secondary and can be done in whatever pockets of time there is left. Cooking is also important as my family need to be nourished with healthy, wholesome food. We try not to eat out as much as possible as it is not only expensive but totally unhealthy.

I’ve been trying to get the home organised so that we get into a simple routine of cleaning and putting things away, a kind of spring clean if you like, but this gigantormous task has been moving extremely slowly. At this rate, we will be done in 3 years at which time baby T2 will no longer be a baby!

*sigh*

If only I had a babysitter some days so I can put a rev up on this task. No such luck.
