Today, I forgot to bring Tee’s piano bag filled with all her piano books to her piano class. For the whole day the day before, I kept telling myself that I couldn’t forget her bag. I even put it by the front door so I could see it and wouldn’t forget. But what did I do today? *sigh*
I am so darn blur in pregnancy that it’s not funny.
I apologized to her as soon as I picked her up from school and asked her what we should do. If she had asked me to return home to get it, I would have (it was a 10 minute drive home after all) but she didn’t. She let out a ‘you silly Mommy’ sigh and said, “Let’s just go without it…..”
I told her to tell her teacher that it wasn’t her fault (to protect her from getting any scolding, if any) and she could blame it entirely on me. But as soon as her teacher arrived, Tee chose to embarrass me in front of all the other people at the music school by loudly announcing that her Mommy is pregnant and when she is pregnant she loses her brains and so she doesn’t have her pencil case to do her theory workbook today because the pencil case was in the piano bag and she doesn’t have her theory workbook either because even that is in the piano bag and how is she going to play the piano today without her piano book…….
I was gobsmacked, stunned for words. All eyes were on her. Then I meekly offered that I’d forgotten to bring her bag and her teacher cut her off by saying, “No problem, we have spare books here!” and hurried my little smart ass into class.
If you knew Tee, you’d know how a story you told her would be added with lots of sugar and spice and not necessarily all things nice when she repeated the story again. I’ll tell you the famine story next to prove just how her brain yarns a tall tale, each and every time.

But open your eyes and take time to understand it intellectually, remove your hang-ups, confirm your research, and you may just want to seize an opportunity. She did. And no, she never went about chasing people for sales. She had a sophisticated system work for her through technology and a smartphone.
She now impacts lives authentically with proven strategies amassed through the last decade of her own transformation offering online coaching programmes and always supports the underprivileged. She believes that we can all have a life of our own desires to enable real contribution into the world. But first, one needs to understand what this all means.
A beautiful life without limits.
