For those of you with babies and young children, take heed.

Thu, Sep 30, 2010 (BabyCenter News) — Fisher-Price has recalled about 2.9 million (about 2.8 million in the U.S. and about 125,000 in Canada) infant playzones, playgrounds, and other toys with hazardous inflatable balls attached to them in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The valve on the inflatable balls on these toys can come off, posing a choking hazard to young children. Fisher-Price and the CPSC are aware of 46 incidents in the U.S. where the valve came off and eight similar incidents in Canada. Altogether, these include 14 reports of a valve found in a child’s mouth and three reports of a child beginning to choke.

This recall involves : CPSC’s website for details on all of these recalled toys.

Another thing to look out for is this baby high chair by Fisher-Price which I thought was pretty cool as it reclines when baby cannot yet sit. T2 had a go in it at a friend’s place.

You also want to check if you have a Fisher-Price TRIKE like any of these or if you have this cool Fisher-price car-ramp toy.
