Last week, I spotted that perfect pair of black slacks on a friend. For your information, I currently do not own a pair of black pants because every pair of black pants that I do own, now reaches up to my knees. Yes, I have grown that much. So I hurried over to find the source of that baby, soon to be my baby and was not surprised that it was quite an expensive pair of pants.
I reasoned that if it looked and felt that good, then it was worth the money. So today, I went with single minded purpose in pursuit of that perfect pair of pants. When I spotted it, I was overjoyed. And then I almost fainted when I saw that it was on sale – 50% discount!!! I asked for their biggest size which was XL and quickly held it to my waist. It didn’t even reach half my waist. *gulp*
I questioned the sales girl that surely they must have XXL but no. So I decided to try it on anyway. See if I could squeeze into it. Hold my breath, suck in the tummy, you never know. And you know what? It arrived at my waist but the legs were soooooooooooooo……………stretched at my thighs that I was worried I was going to have to pay for a ripped pair of pants! *sigh*
There is nothing worse than finding your dream product then realising you cannot bring it home with you. So I decided, no point spending money on clothes right now since I can never fit into anything in Malaysia. I might as well put my money into better investments such as handbags! I’m dreaming of one tonight and I hope the Hubs will reward me for all the hard work I do in being with Tee 24/7 *hint*
